Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control

Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control (FCACC) is the nonprofit group committed exclusively to helping save the lives of over 19,000 animals that come into custody of Chicago Animal Care and Control (CACC) at 2741 S. Western each year.
Our Mission
The City of Chicago takes in thousands of unwanted animals every year from citizens, brings stray animals in off the streets, and provides care for evidence animals in court cases. Contrary to perception, most of these animals are wonderful, loving companion animals–they simply have nowhere else to go.
And that’s why Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control was founded. We’re here to provide help for as many of those unfortunate animals as we possibly can. We do that by:
And YOU can help!

Providing foster care in your own home for animals transferred to us from ACC is our most critical need –and possible the most rewarding for any person passionate about animals. View our Foster Page Here.
Your donations support our efforts to foster the City’s neediest animals. The lives we’ve saved demonstrate even better than our current financial statement how your donations have been used this year. You can donate online here or send check or money order via mail to FCACC, P.O. Box 4414, Chicago IL 60680-4255
