NASCAR will be promoting us all month long but will be present with a special visit on July 3rd in the afternoon. Although it’s going to be a brief visit, we’ll have a City photographer at CACC to capture as much as possible, with a focus on showcasing the great work of the volunteers. We need volunteers from 2:30 to 3:00 p.m. wearing any kind of CACC / FCACC / Safe Humane swag, so you can be included in promotional photos. Ideally, CACC would love to have:
Someone doing agility with dogs in the yard
Nose work activities in progress
Enrichment like puzzle feeders or Kongs in the runs
IKE volunteers to assist Tracy Hamilton who will facilitate IKE activities during the visit.
Also, the official NASCAR PACE vehicle will be parked outside the shelter from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., and we’d love to get photos of staff, volunteers, and dogs with the car.
