We will have two shift for this super fun outdoor event, taking place at Fulton Market. We are teaming up with ChicagoGrit for the post party after the 5 K and bike ride that are part of the Grand Prix.

We’d like to bring two dogs, and to keep things manageable for them, we’re hoping to rotate dogs/handlers halfway through ideally, one set of volunteers for the first 2.5 hours and another for the second 2.5 hours. This way, the dogs don’t get overstimulated and volunteers aren’t overwhelmed either. (The 2 shifts are listed below
Other IMPORTANT facts to know:
- Outdoor event with access to shaded areas, and possibly even an indoor space if it gets too hot.
- No loud noises, since this is a bike race.
- VIP parking will be provided for volunteers – a huge perk!
- The race organizer will be promoting CACC leading up to and during the event.
- Volunteers’ names will be needed in advance so they can receive credentials and secure parking access.
To help maximize our limited parking spots, it would be great if volunteers can carpool or double up where possible.
