Re-Entry (Community Re-Entry)
Re-Entry is intended to be a jobs-training program for people in the Westside Health Authority’s kennel-cleaning-job-training program. Participants learn about shelter dog behavior and gain transferable skills to prepare them for job opportunities. They also learn safe dog-handling practices. Volunteers handle the dogs at first and, later, oversee the interactions between the dogs and program participants. A great opportunity to connect with and educate the cleaning staff with the dogs at CACC.
