Check out this opportunity to help pets and their guardians and potentially keep more animals out of the shelter with by helping with our next pop-up pet food pantry. We'll be passing out food, litter, other supplies as well as Pet ID tags on 28th Street just east of the shelter in conjunction with Cook County Sheriff's, Fetching Tails Foundation, Rescue Pack Chicago and Hinsdale Humane Society. We need help with the following:
- Distributing Food
- Checking People in
- Making Tags
- Passing out Tag Vouchers
- Traffic Control
We're asking volunteers to arrive at 9 and meet in the lobby for an event orientation . The pantry is scheduled from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. If you can stay to help clean up, that'd be great.
