CACC will be bringing dogs to a couple of off-site adoption events. It is always a very positive experience to get our dogs out of the shelter and showcased in these off-site opportunities. It's fun for the dogs and great for the community. These events will be taking place in separate locations and we need dog handlers as well as hands-free volunteers for each event. We would like to bring 5 dogs to each of these which means that we will need 10 volunteers.
Please note: There are two shifts for each event: The longer shift is for the handler who will also pick up and return the dog to the shelter. The shorter shift is for the hands-free helpers who can meet us at the events.
The dates and locations are: Saturday, Sept 30th 2:00 - 4:00 pm Hiawatha Park 8029 Forest Preserve Drive
Friday, October 6th - Backcountry Adoption Event 10:00 am - 1:00 pm 1574 N. Kingsbury near North and Clyboun
